Chiry was a Cuarto of the Salusan Militia.
During the Battle of Zimia he was ordered by Primero Vannibal Meach to take a squadron and escort Manion Butler, Serena Butler and all of the League representatives of the Hall of Parliament into the subterranean shelters.
Chiry suggested that they should be heading there already, but Xavier Harkonnen reminded him that "politicians do not do the smart thing first" and the cuarto ran to do as he was told.
