The title of Chief Fabricator was the head researcher of the starship foundries of the planet Ix during the of the advent of Kralizec.

During this time of human history, Ix was the primary producer of all technologies and starship vessels, and the office of the Chief Fabricator was the de facto leader of the Ixian people.
