Princess Chalice Corrino was the second daughter of the 81st Padishah Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV and Lady Anirul Sadow-Tonkin, and the first younger sister of the Emperor Paul Atreides' legal wife Irulan Corrino.
Chalice was born on the planet Kaitain in 10,164 A.G.
When Chalice was twelve years old, her mother Anirul attempted to rescue the infant Paul from being abducted and taken off-world, and was killed in the effort by Twisted Mentat of House Harkonnen, Piter de Vries.
