Jamis fights Paul Atreides in the Cave of the Ridges - Art by Mark Molnar
The Cave of the Ridges was a cave on Arrakis. It was used as a resting place for Fremen patrols.
Jamis issued the Tahaddi Challenge to Paul Atreides at the Cave. Paul's fight to the death with Jamis tested and confirmed Paul and his mother's place in the Fremen legend through the Amtal Rule.

Behind the scenes[]
- The cave is referred to as the Cave of Riches in Dorothy de Fontaine's map at the beginning of Dune. This, like 'Tuck's Sietch', is erroneous.
- Paul and Jamis fight outside in the 2021 film.
