Calissa was an ultra-orthodox Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother who was a member of Sheeana's sect aboard the no-ship, Ithaca.
Battle of Synchrony[]
During the Battle of Synchrony on the Day of Kralizec, after the no-ship was captured and brought down to the planet, Calissa was given a flechette pistol by Duncan Idaho. She, her compatriot Elyen, and other members of the Order, battled Thinking Machines just outside the Cathedral, near the capital of the machine world. Calissa, Elyen, Scytale, Sheeana, Leto II, and the sandworms led by Monarch were successful, as the Machines were driven back into dis-unity.
This gave them time to save their own lives, before the appearance of the Oracle of Time, and her Guild Navigator heighliner Armada, which soon docked in the skies over the machine-planet.
