Bela Tegeuse was the fifth planet in the Alpha Leporis (Kuentsing) binary star system.

Prior to the Butlerian Jihad, the planet was controlled by the thinking machines. During the protracted campaign however, it was captured by the renegade Titans, and for a while became their base of operations. It was devastated toward the end of the Jihad.

Millenia later, Lady Shando Vernius hid there until Imperial Sardaukar forces executed her.

Bela Tegeuse had an oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere, and low photosynthesis levels. It's photosynthesis level was partly due to the dimness of both its stars (a red secondary and a white dwarf primary), and partly because of its constant thick cloud cover. Thus it was capable of, but poorly equipped to, handle human life. The planet's was described as being murky and dim.

Bela Tegeuse was also a planet that was captured by the Honored Matres at some time before the death of the Great Honored Matre called Dama.
