Beatriz Luna was raised by her father, who kept a wide variety of books, including technical manuals dating back to the 8000s and books from the restricted list. He enjoyed taking semuta and pontificating about the legitimacy of the authority of the Imperium. Once he died, she began to sell the books at her stall.[1]
Awakening[]
Luna was approached by the Prisoner at her stall in Arrakeen, where she told them of them of the vehicles and books that she had on offer. She also informed them of the roles that the Padishah Emperor Elrood Corrino IX and Duke Paulus Atreides played in the Ecazi Revolt, as well as Paulus' death in a bullfight.[1]
