Archduchess Armanda Ecaz was the leader of the House Ecaz during the time of the Desert War in the continuity of Dune: Spice Wars. She was refined and formidable, rarely content and was an expert on getting what she wanted. Before the events of Dune: Spice Wars she handled several crises that could have ended House Ecaz with little to no loss. While often perceived as dry and emotionless, she displayed affection and warmth to those very close to her.

- Armanda is a gender swapped alternative version of Armand Ecaz. In the Expanded Dune continuity, the assassination attempt on Ilesa Ecaz's life is successful.
