Araskin Harkonnen (10105 AG - 10130 AG) was the intellectually disabled brother of Vladimir Harkonnen and was devoted to his mother. Imposing and club footed, he was a ferocious warrior in combat, participating in many gladitorial matches on Giedi Prime, although many were rigged as was tradition on Giedi Prime. He would gut his foes whilst his mother would egg Araskin on, encouraging him to decapitate his opponents. Araskin weighed close to 110 kilograms in his prime. Araskin always believed himself to be a champion, held back by his birth condition. His mother fueled his delusion, explaining that his condition was the fault of his father, who she despised. Gunseng never acknowledged Araskin as his natural son, nor did he deny it.
Biography[]
One night, Gunseng Harkonnen had arranged a formal dinner to celebrate the spoils of a recent victory. Araskin, drunk and furious, turned his goblet upon Gunseng's head, beating it in until his death before attempting to strangle Vladimir, his father's favourite. Mentat Chardin Klees turned a needle to Araskin's neck before he could kill Vladimir, ending his life instantly.
