Also known as 'Ajidamal', Amal was an attempt by the joint forces of the Tleilaxu and House Corrino to create a viable spice alternative. This was to be accomplished on Ix using the advanced facilities that already existed there, and the extenisve knowledge of genetic science that the Tleilaxu possesed.
Reasons for the project
For House Corrino this project was a means to gain the sort of power that it was felt the Emperor should have. Tired by the many factions that vied for power and threatened that of the Emperor, the plan was created.
