Alman V "the Wise" was a distant descendant of Emperor Wensic II of the House of Alman Corrino.
After the reign of Dunamis ended in 3310 AG, he ruled as Regent until 3320 AG when he was formally crowned as Emperor.
He was succeeded by his son, Corrin X. He was also an ancestor of Saluso VII.
