Emperor Alman II[1] was the ninth Emperor of the Known Universe (r. 184–206 AG). He was the son of seventh emperor, Alman I, and presumably usurped the throne from Saudir II Negara II.
Early life[]
Alman II was the son of Alman I (r. 104–123 AG).[1] Alman was a brother-in-law of emperors Henoor II Negara I and Elrood I al-Aziz, and established a new line of the imperial dynasty, the House of Alman Corrino.[1] It is unclear if Alman II was descended from the earlier House of Saluso Corrino (through Alman I's wife).[n 1] Alman I was succeeded in 123 by the previously exiled Saudir II Negara II of the original Saluso Corrino line.[1]
Reign[]
Alman II succeeded Saudir II as emperor in 184,[1] presumably through usurping the throne.[n 2] Shortly after his accession, Alman II murdered Demetrios IV Atreides, son of Elias Atreides (a known supporter of Saudir II), and had the Atreides lands redistributed.[2]
Alman II ruled until 206, when he was succeeded by his son Alman III.[1]

After AlmanII, the Alman Corrinos ruled until the Saluso Corrinos returned to the throne with Elrood II in 207 AG. "A CHRONOLOGY OF SOME IMPORTANT EVENTS IN HUMAN HISTORY" states that Elrood II was "restored" to the throne, indicating it had been taken from his line.
