Duke Achillus Atreides was the Duke of House Atreides during the Battle for Dune. A reserved, intelligent and selfless man, Achillus fought for Spice mining rights, not because he seeked profit, but because he knew the Houses Harkonnen and Ordos would use it as a means of subjugation.[1]
