It has now been confirmed that Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke will play Leto II and Ghanima Atreides, the son and daughter of Paul and Chani, in Dune: Messiah. I'm sure there will be a lot of nepo baby accusations here, since Nakoa-Wolf is Jason Momoa's son and has no previous acting credits:

The trades are reporting that Robert Pattinson is being eyed for the role of Scytale in Denis Villeneuve's upcoming adaptation of Dune: Messiah. They stress that no formal offer has been made yet, but it would be pretty damn exciting to see him in the role:

Paul having empty eye sockets after the stone burner attack is such a cool visual, I really hope we see it in the Villeneuve film. The miniseries just gave him black eye sockets and from what it sounds like the Lynch film was gonna do that too. Getting to see Timothee with prescient powers and missing eyes is such an awesome visual.
As you may know, a new, as yet untitled Dune movie was set to be released in 2026. The Imax Corporation website had revealed it in a PowerPoint Presentation. However, the movie has been removed from this year's list of films...
Let's all hope together that they will put it back for this year, that it was just too early to announce it. And maybe the movie will not only cover Messiah but also Children of Dune !
